How to read a government job circular in 5 minutes

Government Jobs · BD Job Result · 2026

Government job circulars in Bangladesh follow a fixed structure — and most application mistakes happen because candidates skip half of it. Post name, grade, quota rules, deadline and fee instructions all sit in the same document. This guide shows how to read a circular in five minutes and decide whether you are eligible.

The anatomy of a circular

Every official circular — from ministries, directorates or autonomous bodies — contains the same blocks: the publishing authority, post names with vacancy counts, pay grade, required qualifications, age limits, quota information and the application method with deadline. Read them in this order and you will never miss a condition.

Eligibility checklist before applying

  • Age on the reference date: count from the date mentioned in the circular, not the application day.
  • Subject match: many posts require specific subjects — "equivalent" is rarely accepted.
  • Quota documents: quota candidates need certificates ready before the written exam.
  • Fee first: most applications only activate after the Teletalk SMS fee is paid.

Common mistakes to avoid

Do not wait for the last day: payment systems overload near deadlines. Double-check the photo and signature size rules — wrong formats are the top rejection reason. And keep the user ID and password from the confirmation SMS; without them you cannot download the admit card later.
